1- HALLSTATT GÖLÜ
Masalsı Hallstatt Köyü’nün kıyısındaki doğa harikası göl eşsiz manzarası ile herkesi büyülemektedir. Hallstatt Gölü Alp Dağları’nın manzarasına sahiptir. Göl deniz seviyesinden 508 metre yükseklikte, 5,9 km uzunluğunda ve 2,3 km genişliğindedir. Göl üzerinde çalışan gemi hattı Hallstatt Köyü’nü demiryolu hattına bağlayarak ulaşımı sağlamaktadır.
Hallstatt Gölü’nde gün doğumunun en büyüleyici haline tanık olunmaktadır. Günübirlik seyahat için uygun olan Hallstatt Gölü’nde tekneyle gezintiye çıkmak, balık tutmak, dalış yapmak, rafting ve trekking yapmak turistler için popüler aktiviteler arasındadır. Ayrıca Hallstatt Gölü çevresinde mutfağında önemli yer tutan deniz mahsullerinde başarılı olan kafeler ve restoranlar da vardır. Bölgenin birası da meşhurdur.
2- HALLSTATT MEYDANI
Hallstatt Köyü’nün kalbi olan meydan, renkli evlerle çevrili, ağaçlarla süslenmiş çok sayıda kafe, restoran ve hediyelik eşya dükkanları ile turistlerin ilgisini çekmektedir. Meydanın tarihi de köyün tarihi gibi 13 yy. dayanmakta olup tam ortasında Holy Trinity Çeşmesi bulunmaktadır.
3- EVANJELİST KİLİSESİ
1785 yılında bir ibadet yeri olarak inşa edilmiş olan Evanjelist Kilisesi, Hallstatt’ın merkezinde, Pazar Meydanına çok yakında bulunaktadır. Kilisenin tarihi 18. yüzyılın sonlarına uzanıyor olsa da, günümüzdeki yapı 1863 yılında başlanmış ve yapımı 5 yıl sürmüştür. Sivri kulesiyle ve arkasındaki yeşil doğasıyla dikkat çeken kilise, sade bir mimariye sahip olsa da, içerisinin dizaynı bir köy için yapılmış harika bir kilisedir.
4- CATHOLİC PARİSH CHURCH (KATOLİK CEMAAT KİLİSESİ)
Katolik Cemaat Kilisesi 1500’lerden kalma Gotik fresklere ev sahipliği yapmasıyla öne çıkan Hallstatt’ta gezilecek yerlerden dini yapıdır.
Evanjelist Kilisesi’ne nazaran biraz daha popüler bir çekim merkezi olan bu dini yapı da, tıpkı diğer kilise gibi güzel bir manzarayla çevrilidir. Kilisenin içerisinden Hallstatt Gölü’nün enfes manzarası ve Hallstatt Köyü’nün merkezi de görünmektedir.
5- SALZWELTEN HALLSTATT (TUZ MADENLERİ)
Tuz madenleri, Avusturya’nın Hallstatt şehrinde bulunan ve 7000 yıllık tarihi ile dünyanın en eski ve hala aktif olan tuz madenleridir. Tuz madenleri gezisi sırasında, özellikle yerin 300 metre altına kadar inen müze tutkunları paha biçilemez deneyimler yaşamaktadır. Dünyanın en eski tuz madenlerinin burada bulunması zaten turistik olan yeri daha da cazip hale getirmektedir. Günümüzde madende tuz üretimi yapılmaya devam etmektedir. Buradaki tuz madenlerine ait ilk bulgular 7000 yıl öncesine yani Neolitik Çağ’a dayanmaktadır. Organize şekilde tuz madenciliğinin ilk somut kanıtları ise M.Ö. 15. yüzyılda Orta Tunç Çağı’na dayanmaktadır.
6- HALLSTATT DÜNYA MİRASI MÜZESİ
Hallstatt’ın tarihi gelişimi hakkında bilgi almak için kasabanın meydanında bulunan müzeye gidebilirsiniz. Müze, tuz madenlerinin ilk günlerinden UNESCO Dünya Mirası Alanı statüsüne kadar, hem kasabanın hem de çevresinin son 7000 yıldaki zengin tarihini ele alan sergilere ev sahipliği yapmaktadır.
7- BEİNHAUS (KEMİK EVİ)
İnsan kemikleri ve boyanmış kafataslarıyla dolu olan bu ilginç müze Hallstatt’ın en ilgi çekici turistik yerlerinden biridir. Biraz ürkütücü bir yer olsa da, kesinlikle görülmesi gereken yerler arasında yer almaktadır.
Beinhaus adı verillen bu Kemik Evi’nde 1200’den fazla kafatası ve insan kemikleri bulunmaktadır. Bunların yarısından fazlası aile isimlerine göre boyanmıştır.
18. yüzyıl başlarından beri kafataslarının üzerine isimlerle beraber çiçek motifleri de çizilmeye başlanmış. O zamandan beri bir gelenek haline gelmiş olsa da, 20. yüzyılın ortalarında buna yasak getirilmiştir.
Bu uygulama 1960’lardan beri ortadan kaldırılmış olsa da, Beinhaus’ta çok daha yeni bir kafatası var. Altın dişli haçın yanında 1983 yılında ölen bir kadının kafatası yer alıyor. Son isteği Beinhaus’a konmak olduğu için son olarak bu kadının kafatası da artık Kemik Evi’nde bulunuyor. Kafatası, 1995 yılında, oraya en son yerleştirilen kemik olması bakımından da önemli bir yere sahiptir.
HALLSTATT YEME İÇME REHBERİ
Avusturya’nın bu şirin kasabasında manzaranın güzelliği yanında yiyebileceğiniz yemek seçeneklerini ve gidebileceğiniz restoranları sizler için derledim.
Schnitzel: Avusturya mutfağının klasik yemeği olan Schnitzel, genellikle dana, tavuk ve domuz etinden yapılan, ince dilimlenmiş ve kızartılmış bir çeşit pane yemeğidir.

3- Diğer yöntem ise; Salzburg’tan trenle Attnang Puchheim durağında inip oradan Hallstatt trenine binip feribota binerek köyün merkezine ulaşmaktır. Eğer Salzburg’a dönmek istemezseniz Attnang Puchheim durağından Viyana’ya da dönebilirsiniz. (ikinci gidişimde kullandığım güzergah)
4- Otobüslü yöntem ise Salzburg’tan 150 numaralı otobüse binip Bad Ischl’da inip daha sonra 542 numaralı otobüsle Gossau geçip oradan tekrar 543 numaralı otobüsle Hallstatt’a ulaşmaktır.
